After writing my tutorial on using fans-only content to grow your Facebook following, I got a ton of requests from readers for more Facebook-related topics! Here’s your crash course on primping your Facebook page.
Add Your Tabs
• Add your blog feed to your Facebook page with the NetworkedBlogs Facebook app.
• Add your Etsy shop to your Facebook page with the Etsy shop Facebook app.
• Add your Instagram feed to your Facebook page with the InstaTab Facebook app or the Statigram Facebook app.
• Create exclusive content for your Facebook fans with my tutorial for creating fans-only content on Facebook.
The “Photos” app will always be in the first position but you have three other slots to work with.

Change Them Up
1. Once you’ve added the apps you want to use, you can adjust the order of your Facebook apps by clicking on the tiny arrow icon to the right of your tabs. This will expand your list so you can see all of your installed apps.
2. Hover your mouse over the tab you want to move, and you will see a pencil icon appear in the top right of the tab.
3. Click the pencil icon, then look for “Swap position with” on the menu. Click the name of the app you wish to switch the tab with. Continue swapping until all of your tabs are where you want them.

Customize Your Tabs
4. Ready to really primp your Facebook? Customize your tabs! As before, click the arrow icon, then the pencil icon on the tab you want to edit. Then choose “Edit Settings” from the menu.
5. From the following pop-up window, you can change the name of your tab to anything you want.
6. You can also upload a custom tab image! Your tab image should be 111 px x 74 px.

Freebies
I’m hooking you guys up! I created five sets of free Facebook tabs for you to download and use on your own Facebook page! Each set includes a tab for your blog feed, your shop, your Instagram feed, and your fan freebies. Download them to your computer, unzip the file, then upload your favorite set using the directions above.
• Download FREE Facebook tabs •
As always, these are free for personal use only. Please use them on your own Facebook page, and if you wish to share them, direct your friends to this post. Do not upload the zip file to your own blog or sell these images.
If you’re not sure how to use these, please reread the tutorial above and try one more time. If you still have questions, please read the comments first to see if someone else asked your question. If no one has, feel free to leave your question in the comments. (Sorry to be annoying, I just end up answering the same questions over and over in the comments of these freebie posts.)
So go, little primpers! Go and beautify your Facebooks! Then leave a message on my Facebook page so I can go check it out. : )

Thank you so much! Because of you I am on my way to getting good use of my Facebook page.
Well that stinks, apparently now you have to pay for the Networked blogs app for your page.

I am having the same issue as Jonna… There seems to be a fee now for adding tab to Facebook. Are we doing this right?
Hi Elizabeth! I recently asked the support team from Networked Blogs to find out if it is a paid feature yet and this was the response I got. Not sure if it is still available for free or not but you can try!
Hi Jonna, we’re in the process of making the facebook tab a paid feature, but there’s still a way to activate it for free. If you go to your blog profile page (http://www.networkedblogs.com/blog/your-blog-name) there’s an option to “add tab to facebook page.” Note: you must be verified as the blog’s author to do this.
Hope that helps!
Jonna

I tried to do this- the only reason I even got a Networked Blog account- and they want $9.99 a month for the facebook tab now!

I manage my works Facebook page and anytime I try to install an app it won’t let me install it on “my page”. Just my personal profile. Any suggestions?
Can not add to personal facebook profiles – so sad =(
I can’t seem to add my own iframe/settings. Is that no longer on option on FB? I only have the options:
Add to favorties:
videos
notes
Find more apps
Any tips?
Hey!
So for some reason I’m really struggling to add the apps to facebook page?? It just gives me an Events and Notes option. Please can someone help me??
Plz plz plz!

I just added the app to my fb fan page for free. Go to networked blogs fb page, click the little arrow to the right under the “go to app” button (on the right) and a drop down box shows. Click “add app to page”, select your page and that’s all there is to it!
okay, never mind! That totally does not work. It adds the tab but it doesn’t like properly but I did find this other app that does work- same as networked blogs but free. It only publishes one post per day from your feed, though but hey, I’ll take that over $10 a month! here’s the app- I just installed it and it works! *woot woot* https://apps.facebook.com/social-rss
